Yes, your website will be ADA compliant, however compliance is maintained in how content is added over time. It's not a one-time activity.

We utilize a plugin that assists in assuring your site is ADA compliant. This is set up during the SEO set up process after the site has gone live.

In addition, we will add this verbiage to your site to ward off any unethical marketers who want to claim your site does not meet the requirements.

We are committed to providing website visitors, including persons with disabilities, with access to its website(s) and web-based information and services. In development of the website, the office has endeavored to make every reasonable effort to comply with the web accessibility standards and guidelines established by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA. We welcome comments and suggestions to improve the accessibility of this website. This website has been designed to reach the broadest audience possible. However, if you have difficulty viewing this website, accessing any information presented on this website, using any of the features of the website, please contact our office using our contact page.

In addition, whenever adding a photo to the site, if doing this without our assistance, be sure to fill in the meta data associated with the image, especially the alt tag section. This should be used to describe the image shown. The most common breach of compliance is found in missing alt tags.

When adding video content, you can have it captioned for the hearing impaired. This is a setting you can turn on in Youtube if embedding through YouTube.

In most states, compliance is not a law. In some it is. In some areas, there's an ADA compliance tax credit that may be available to you. Please ask your CPA about this.
